Important Resort Information & Seasonal Access

Hualalai Resort operates a seasonal access program for rental guests. Guests wishing to use resort amenities must purchase access for their eligible household in accordance with the Resort’s current policies. All household members must participate for a minimum of two consecutive days, with no breaks between access days. Rental guests are provided a one-time opportunity to opt into resort access during their stay.

Resort Reservations & Access Policies

• During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, the booking-window and chaise lounge policies will not apply.
• During Peak of Peak Season, rental guests may submit on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge beginning 60 days before their resort access start date.
• During Festive Season, a dedicated Festive Concierge Desk is scheduled to open in mid-November to facilitate on-property reservations.
• During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, chaise lounges for residential and rental guests will be available on lawns and beaches as directed by Pool Operations.

Rental guests have a one-time opportunity to opt into resort access during their stay. The entire household must participate for a minimum of two consecutive days, without a break in access.

Beach Tree Pool Closure | September 8 – November 15

The Beach Tree Pool at Hualalai is scheduled to close temporarily for repairs and enhancements. Beach Tree Restaurant is expected to remain open for lunch and dinner, with beachfront food and beverage service continuing during the project. Guests who have purchased access to the resort amenities package may continue to enjoy Hualalai’s seven other swimming facilities. Guests may also enjoy the shoreline with their own beach chair from the villa. Please verify the current closure dates and arrangements with the Resort before arrival.

Mitsubishi Golf Tournament | January 16–24, 2027

The annual Mitsubishi Golf Tournament will take place at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. Access to the resort and its amenities will be limited during the event. Access is managed entirely by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion. Guests should contact the Resort directly for details regarding access and available amenities.

IRONMAN Race | October 9, 2027

The IRONMAN Race may result in extensive road closures and traffic diversions throughout Kona and the Kohala area. Alternative routes may be established to accommodate the event. Guests traveling during this period are encouraged to plan transportation and travel times accordingly and check local traffic advisories before departure.
